diese Rasse ist abgeleitet aus Gnome PHB und Satyr MOoT
A Faun’s personality is writ large in their appearance. The energy and enthusiasm for living shines through every inch of their tiny body. Their tan or brown faces are usually adorned with broad smiles. In their physical forms fauns embody a fusion of humanoid civilization with the freedom of wild beasts. Generally, they look like humanoids, with range of builds and features. But their horns, pointed ears and furred lower bodies, as well as hooves sharply distinguish them.
Most fauns believe that the people are woefully burdened with the plague of seriousness. As far as fauns are concerned, being alive is a wonderful thing, and they squeeze every ounce of enjoyment out of their life, no matter the circumstances. Worried to never be able to do all the things they want to see fauns speak faster than they can think, interrupting each other being seen as listening carefully and working together.
No matter if nomadic or more settled, fauns like to get as much fresh air as possible and build homes full of light and colour, hiding them by using their surroundings as camouflage. If you are not welcome you will never see the faun community in their villages, but if you are, you will be greeted with arms wide open and lots of food and dance.
There is no such thing as too little relatives for a faun. Everyone the age of your parents is an aunt or uncle, no matter how related they are to you, many grandparents make for a happier child and their always will be someone around your age to play with. Having this close of a community, property ownership vanishes, everyone helping the community in their way. Artists are seen as relevant as bakers, no job too little or too unimportant.
Fauns are known for their eccentricities. Some people, so they know a faun, spend too much time worrying over why these behave as they do. But fauns themself simply are as they are. The faun Eccentricities table suggests a few tastes or proclivities your faun character might poses:
| d8 | characteristics |
